1. Paint a new 40k army
My goal this year is to get a 2K points GSC army up and running. Not necessarily for competing but certainly for playing match-play games. I also want this army to have a bit more personal flavour to it so I plan to build a bit of a backstory and include a lot more conversions / kitbashes than my main Craftworlds army.
My only progress so far is to have picked up a pretty good deal on a bunch of core units from the Facebook 40k trading page. They're all assembled and primed already but I think I will probably strip a lot of them back to plastic and remove the current basing material so I can give them a tidier paint job. I suspect this project will start pretty slowly since I still have a fairly big backlog for my craftworlds army that I'd like to get through, but once I get stuck in I reckon I'll be pumping out a new character/unit every week or so.
2. Create a table of terrain to support a game
3. Build and paint an Adeptus Titanicus engine
4. Run a simple narrative campaign for the group
5. Add two new units to an existing 40k army
6. Paint a 40k hero from an army you don’t own
7. Play a game a month and post a photo of it
8. Build/Paint a Warcry warband
9. Organise a multiplayer game
10. Attend two The Long War events at the Warlords
Good stuff Jeremy. You should chase up Hagen as he has GSC units he is looking to sell.
