One of the things I missed when I first read the rulers was the importance of the Leader Point. This is the point directly in the centre front of a unit.
And it is important for two major reasons:
- It is the point that you draw the unit's Line of Sight from; and
- It is the point that you measure charge distances from.
Both these rules are different from WHFB where you use the full extent of the unit to measure charge distance or arc of sight from. However I can see some benefits in this methodology. You don't get the very very wide charge distances that some models can travel that you had with WHFB. Run 10 mounted wide in WHFB and you could have some flank models traveling up to 30" in extreme cases. This mechanism reduces this.
