It looks from the photos that the first Age of Sigmar event at Warhammer World in Lenton was a raging success. The venue was bursting with people enjoying their AOS fun.
Oh wait?
But I was told that Age of Sigmar was taking the UK by storm.
Ah but it still has the old-world Warhammer look, they will have to redecorate to make it fit the new AoS aesthetic. Sure hope their decorators don't charge the same for terrain as GW do, it'd cost them about 5 billion pounds to do that room ;)
The new AoS aesthetic. The walls will be glossy gold Sigmarite TM. The door will be a glow Stargate. And the lights will be replaced by a Numinous Occulum.
But but but... No the punters must be in the 'other' hall where all the hobbyists are modelling and painting the Games Workshop models that they love buying.
Cause, you know, Games Workshop is a model company, not a Games Company...
The setting looks amazing all round the sides of the room to bad there playing the most lasy written game gw have made

Are you sure that's not the photo from the lunchtime break?
ReplyDeleteYes but I'm sure you're not.
DeleteGreat that you are enjoying AoS
To be fair I have had zero games... Seb has had one. Wants more. Seems a good driver for me to plan to play.
