Looks like any hopes of price equalisation between NZ and Australia (and certainly Australasia and the UK) are a little forlorn.
The NZ CPI increase for the past year was 0.1% - basically prices in NZ have not increased at all. Yet GW are looking at increases of between 10-33%.
Hopefully some of this is going to staff!

$9 for one paint?? When I started they were $3.50 each. 24 is too young for back-in-my-day stories haha. Looks like I'll be continuing my trend of picking up cheap half empty ones.

DeleteAt the moment I'm in a similar situation... most my purchases are consumable paints etc. Now at $9 NZD per pot.... not keen. I can get other paint ranges for almost that half price locally. I really like citadel paints but going to have to look at other ranges.
