Reading the WD last night I picked up a couple of snippets that were included in the articles.
Firstly, it was confirmed Wood Elves get their free wood still. And secondly, it notes that the Special Character as a Wood Elf gets to re-roll rolls of 1 to wound if he is in a wood
Nice synergies there.
