I've made a small tweak to Fields of Blood Lite Comp, specifically Daemons of Chaos.
You can now once again take multiple Skullcannons but only if you have a Bloodthirster or Herald of Khorne and a unit of Bloodletters in your army.
The thinking behind this is that allows people to field an army with a significant investment investment in Khorne elements to continue that theme.
Excellent change. Something like this is in line with the themes of an army, and it addresses the undercosted points value of the Skullcannon by requiring an overcosted unit to be included. So it balances out points costs to a degree while allowing more themed armies.
ReplyDeleteAnother example of this might be Skullcrushers. Maybe a maximum of 3 models unless there is a Khorne-marked character in the army.
Go away Tane.
DeleteFair enough, it makes perfect sense for all the Skullcrushers in existence to be tagggin along behind Slaaneshi and Nurgle generals. I guess all those Khorne Lords, Exalted and Daemon Princes are in perpetual anger-management classes.......;)
DeleteMaybe the hatred (Deamons of Slaanesh, Daemons of Tzeench) etc rule should apply to a mixed army's own Daemon content too, but frenzied: so if you play a mixed army you have to roll a Ld to prevent your allied daemon forces from attacking each other, with hatred and frenzy.
DeleteSolid.
ReplyDeleteawaiting the skaven tweaks... Thrott gets 2x HPA, Ikit gets 2x WLC etc etc
ReplyDeleteThose would be good, provided there's no Grey Seer to muddy the clan waters.......
