Shame on you John Murrie - 3 Spellbreakers and 1 Spelleater - Shame on you!
John, nice call mate, nice call. Only pretentious plonkers need a magic phase, you're helping them overcome their dependency.
ReplyDelete17 war machines between 4 means someone's let the side down; there should be 20.
Chur!!! As for the WM I have 5 if you count the Gyro :)
DeleteAnd its great to see you playing at an event Tane
DeleteThe double grudge thrower + Master Engineer Tane, always a good choice, always a good choice mate.
ReplyDeleteI've slacked off a bit, only brought three :(
oops... three Dispell scrolls that is
Deletegood 4 dwarves... 4 deluded, misguided souls. some really mixed lists from very good to pretty bad. Everyone else playing for 2nd with Pete winning it?
DeleteIt's great to see 4 Dwarves, but who are these deluded, misguided souls? There's only 3 Skaven players and 2 Ogre players, so that doesn't add up. I don't think Lizardmen are that bad, surely?
DeleteNotice how all the grumbling comes from the non-Dwarf players... wait till the new book comes out and we get the Rune of IF dispelling ;)
DeleteShould change it from Runefang to Dwarfopalypse.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of heading to welly in October is 4 dwarfs normal?
ReplyDeleteWith luck, by then it'll be 6 or 7 by then.
DeleteLet me think do I fly down for the weekend to play 4-7 dwarfs? Sounds like I'll be going to Arch Enemy!
ReplyDeleteI see the 3 Skaven players are bringing 50 Gutter Runners between them. Awesome.......
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they Invented Gutter Whiskers for this very situation?
DeleteAren't they useful in almost every situation?
DeleteYou're right though; GRs are perfectly designed to kill war machines. So in a world full of sneaky infiltrators, the war machine crews would then have learned to dig themselves in (entrenching in game terms), which is standard practice for gunners. It's not hard to carry some straw gabions, fill them with dirt and mount sentries to watch the rear. Infiltrators are still a threat, but not an auto-kill 1 WM a turn like they are now.
I am not sure you got the joke.
DeleteSorry mate, it flew right over my head, waving to me as it went by.
DeleteThts alright. Not hard to get anything over a Dwarfs head.
DeleteHey, you making short jokes? People who make short jokes about Dwarves end up with an axe to the kneecap.
