MAR: Wave month (The Hobbit, Warriors of Chaos)

SEP: Wave month
OCT: ???
NOV: Eldar
DEC: ??? (I'd guess 2nd Hobbit Movie Tie-in)
So three new Fantasy Army Books, four 40k plus a mystery box
Doubt it very much. You'll get 2 MAYBE three codexes and count yourself lucky! I'd guess two fantasy books as well.
ReplyDeleteI'd better bookmark this page in case I need to eat my hat later!
Start eating your hat, weve already had Dark Angels, Tau, Hobbit and Chaos !
Deletefantasy this month!!! might be high elves? what do you think?
DeleteYup, hats will be eaten.
DeleteSo with no WOC book due does this mean I can hobble around on my 3+ Ward crutch a bit longer?
ReplyDeleteDwarves Dwarves where are my Dwarves and seriously when are Wood Elves and Brettonians getting updated? They along with Dwarves are the 3 oldest books.
ReplyDeleteStill a new HIgh Elf book is definately something to look forward too.
Big first 6 months for WFB.Could be expensive one for me as I've got 3 out of the 4 armies listed.Really do hope i feel like playing warhammer again by then
ReplyDeleteThere shall be Dwarfs I say, THERE SHALL BE!
ReplyDeleteI'm super-excited about the Dark Angels release in January. Hopefully it will be accompanied by an audiobook version of "Descent of Angels" - that would be brill.
ReplyDeleteRumours are resurfacing that WOC will be before High Elves, potentially bumping HE back.
ReplyDeleteHey Pete, curious where you found this info?
ReplyDeleteCheers, Aaron
Versions of it are on multiple forums, blogs across the net. Not sure where the original source emanated from.
DeleteFor the rather uninitiated, what does a wave month imply?
ReplyDeleteNo book/codex release...instead you have multiple releases usually secondary models not provided in main release e.g. WoC Skullcrushers
ReplyDeleteI see. Thanks!
DeleteAlso dont forget about black templars needing revamping more than most armies being the oldest 40k codex in circulation
ReplyDeletetheres plenty of WFB books that need to be released before Templar
ReplyDeleteARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Another 9 months till Eldar?! So much for November 2012-March 2013!!
ReplyDeleteTAU! :D
ReplyDeleteFINALLY! ELDAR.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Tau coming back. I also reckon in June or so there'll be an update for the War of the Ring expansion, to give stuff from the Hobbit rules
ReplyDeleteI'm looking back to see if old rumours are proving ture, this one has made me laugh, its only March and we've hit your prediticon for the year now!
ReplyDeleteso thats why the high elves battalion has been taken off the gw website...
ReplyDeleteand im gonna start wfbsoon and am gonna start high elves :D bad thing is that theyre very very squishy... :(
ReplyDeleteGreat list....Thanks.
