Last week I got an email from a local gamer going overseas who was offering me the chance to purchase some of his terrain as he was having a cleanout.
As a result I picked up the Games Workshop Helm's Deep terrain piece:
I also picked up the Dwarf Fortified Hill terrain piece that GW released about 2000.
Sorry what?!? You brought a Dwarf terrain piece? something you want to tell us Pete
ReplyDeleteHey Pete, if you don't want the Dwarf Fortified Hill terrain piece it would find a happy home with us at Manawatu Duellists.

It'd find a happier home in Johnsonville......
ReplyDeleteI think that Dwarves are Pete's secret shame. His years of publicly dissing them are a cover for a deep-seated love for short, hairy dudes. He's just a bit too strident about his dislike for them.
ReplyDeleteI reckon he has thousands of points of immaculately painted Dwarves hidden in his house, where even Jack and Tom can't find them.
Easy to understand why you Dwarfers play Dwarfs.....easily amused.
ReplyDeleteI bought the piece to defile as a Skaven-captured Dwarfen entrance to the Underempire. You'll see.
Ouch!! Check mate to Pete Dunn.
DeleteMethinks a battle for that piece of terrain at the next Karak Eight Peaks tournament is in line.

Well, not quite checkmate, it was pretty obvious that Pete would Skavenify it, just to repress his inner Dwarf that little bit more.
DeleteSeriously though Pete, you're amongst friends, this is a safe environment. You can tell us how you really feel, we won't judge you. Repeat after me "I love Dwarves, and I'm not afraid to say it."
Is that helms deep made from finecast? It seems a little bent.
